The weekends are sometimes slow days here at the WOBIK blog and we’ve decided that nothing heavy, intricate or difficult to understand should be published on Saturdays and Sundays.
From this point forward we may occasionally, or perhaps regularly, publish what we have styled as The Weekend Birth Certificate Review.
In this first edition of The Weekend Birth Certificate Review we present Orville Asa Turpin’s Delayed Certificate of Birth:
I own Orville’s birth certificate and digitized it yesterday for review here at the WOBIK blog. The document contains a raised embossed seal from the State of Iowa and includes several signatures as well as a blue number (175069) stamp on the front and back as well as black date (May 15 1942) stamp and a unintentional partial fingerprint left behind by the official who date stamped the document.
Orville was born Des Moines, Iowa (Polk County). Des Moines is the captial of Iowa and is also the biggest city in Iowa. You don’t run into many young people in Iowa these days named Orville but I do know at least one guy in Iowa by the name of Orville.
Orville’s father’s name was Ephraim Turpin and he was born in Peoria, Illinois. I too once lived in Peoria, Illinois as a boy.
Orville’s mother’s maiden name was Mary Wagner and she was born in Warren County, Iowa.
Orville’s birth document asks for ‘Color or Race’. ‘White’ is listed as the answer.
As readers may know, Barack Obama has attained an awful lot of things (e.g., attained the Office of US President) without a North American birth certificate. Orville appears to have also attained a lot without a birth certificate.
For approximately 53 years (1889 thru 1942) Orville did not have a birth certificate. Yet the ‘Abstract of Supporting Evidence’ provided within the above pictured birth document states that the documents used and relied on to acquire his ‘Delayed Certificate of Birth’ included the following:
1. Draft Registration issued June 5, 1917.
2. Insurance Policy issued July 20, 1908.
3. Tax Receipt issued September 25, 1923.
4. International Association of Machinists issued May 26, 1913.
I’m not sure if a person today in the United States of America would have any of the forgoing 1 thru 4 documents if they did not first have a birth certificate.
I took me some time to ascertain Orville’s last name because I couldn’t make out the spelling in the writing of the said last name on the above pictured birth document. In any event, I did confirm the spelling when I found the following gravestone picture online for Orville and his wife Blanche who have both passed some years ago:
It appears that, according to the gravestone, Orville lived a relatively long life on Earth living to be approximately 95 years of age (1889 thru 1984). His wife Blanche was born in 1891 and passed in 1964.
They are buried at the Des Moines Masonic Cemetery which is located at 1550 48th St, Des Moines, Iowa 50311.
This report serves, in part, as a tribute to my fellow Iowan – Orville Asa Turpin.
If any surviving blood relatives of Orville and Blanche find themselves reading this report you are welcome to contact me if you’d like for me to send you Orville’s tangible birth certificate.

The birth certificate is a fake, there were no Turpins in Iowa in the year 1889.

Why do you own it? Isn’t this info sensitive, and due a sense of privacy? Are you an immediate or distant relative of Mr. Orville?
Oh, by the way: The Kenya birth line is and has always been a phony diversion. Make no mistake, “Obama” was born in the US…and if the whole truth about his real origins see the light of day, there will be utter SHOCK clear across the country

Hopefully your sum of birth-certificates you “own” don’t equate into fake passports. There’s more entertaining features than the obituary section in the newspaper, even in Iowa I would guess. Maybe you can find another way to make your points without disturbing the dead.
Which brings me to your question about if I know of “Obama’s” ‘real origins’, why wouldn’t I share it with you. For a couple of reasons: (A) I suspect you already know of his origins and may be purposely doing the bidding of someone hell-bent on keeping his genuine origins safe, thus your end around far way from the truth Kenya hired-production in the first place; and (B) it’s not fair for me to exploit and or share what is obvious. Besides, in due time, the truth shall come to light, and hopefully from the family first, if and when they choose to make such a revelation. If not, that’s okay too, but enough with the red herrings already, Kenya this and Kenya that…good day sir.

Regards to BC of Orville Turpin. Asa Turpin is my G G Grandfather. Ephriam is his brother. I would beg to differ with Steven Stove about his information. Sanford Turpin, Rosetta Turpin, and Minerva Turpin just in my line were in Iowa from 1853-1954

That’s like asking how do we know there was a WWII.
Ive never heard of these people, but Turpin is not a very common name. I was trying to do some research on my late grandfather and read this. Many Turpin’s are from Arkansas. And have some or small amounts of native American blood. Other names in the Turpin blood line are, wood, Reddick, Crowley, and many more. My very long down the line relatives, the Crowley’s, are one of the first people to have settled in Crowley’s ridge, and if you’re from Arkansas you definitely know what that is. I’m pretty sure this doesn’t help any, but when something to do with my family comes up, I always try to put my impute in. Like I said, Turpin isn’t a common name by any means so this is a rare occasion.
