This afternoon, my wife shouted, "come quick" and motioned me to look out the front window of our home in our quiet, suburban, Georgia neighborhood. There on the street directly in front of our house, just ambling along, were two baby foxes! We have occasionally seen adult coyotes and foxes while driving through our neighborhood, but we have never before seen very young foxes. Interesting!
The event reminded me of a folk song called "The Fox" that I used to sing many years ago, accompanied in a very inadequate manner with my nylon-string classical guitar.
Below is another amateur but much better presentation of that same song, which I tried to perform many years ago when our kids were young. Precious memories!
