Does anyone know if didi seven works (or works well)?

I remember seeing it on TV as a miracle product some years ago.

I just bought some because I'm going to need it, or something like it, in a couple of months.

If anyone has ever used it please let me know your experience with it.

Here are a couple of pics:

I have never personally used 'Didi Seven' but I note from the below-linked reviews on Amazon that a lot of folks think is is an excellent product:

Here is a link to some background information on the product:

Here is a link to the manufacturer's website info:

Finally, here is a link to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) on the product, which gives detailed information on it's composition:

    MY COMMENTS:

The main active ingredients in Didi Seven are:

    • Petroleum Distillate (mild solvent) - contains about 50% - good solvent for greasy soils
    • Sodium Hydrosulfite (strong reducing agent) - contains about 15% - good remover for iron (rust) stains and many organic food related stains.
    • Tetrasodium EDTA (strong chelating agent for a wide variety of metal ions) - contains about 6% - good remover for a wide variety of stains, especially where calcium (hard water ions) or ferrous/ferric (rust/iron ions) are involved.
    • Two anionic surfactants (detergents) - contains a total of about 30%

The product has a pH of 9.9 at 1% solution in water, which indicates that it is slightly alkaline.

    (1) Based on the above, it's evident that Didi Seven is very concentrated. I believe, just from looking at the ingredients and concentrations, that the product SHOULD work very well as a general purpose cleaner and stain remover.

    (2) Apparently, based on the comments from the mostly happy folks on Amazon who have tried it, Didi Seven is indeed a pretty good product.
