My only problem with the tool was when I first purchased it, I was running at much too high a speed for use as an edger along our concrete driveway and sidewalks . Consequently, I was breaking the string very often, which was very inconvenient. Since I started running it at low to moderate speeds, I have had no unusual problem with string breakage.
I have found the tool to be light, easy to use, quiet, effective and long lasting in performance on a battery charge.
