Gee, I never knew that Martin Luther King Jr. was a communist. When every one (except the few elite overlords like Obama) are in the middle class, then there will be no middle class, will there?
It’s all there in his speech. All of Obama’s agenda, everything Obama is pushing for in his last months as president:
Veiled (and not so veiled) attacks on the Citizens United decision; the Tea Party and any others who oppose big government; voting “rights” setback in courts; anybody who’s against raising the minimum-wage; the wealthy 1% (which Obama seems to forget includes himself); those who oppose labor unions; those who oppose amnesty for illegal aliens; and those who oppose gay marriage. Did I miss anything?
(Notably lacking was any mention of Syria. Of course, MLK would likely oppose using resources for war instead of social programs at home.)
Obama, in his speech, turned MLK’s “dream” into Obama’s own agenda. He equated his goals with MLK’s goals. Obama turned a day to praise MLK for his accomplishments into yet another campaign event to push for Obama’s own communist policies, which MLK would probably, for the most part, oppose.
MLK wanted equal opportunity for all, not equal outcome, “by any means necessary.”
In essence, Obama said that if you don’t support ALL of Obama’s policies, then you’re against MLK’s dream. What a rodeo clown.
What a bunch of jingoistic nonsense hidden in a bunch of flowery language that means nothing.
Obama spoke as if nothing has changed over the past half century. He talked about how blacks (I assume) lost their way and aren’t working towards their own “liberation”. Uh, excuse me. Liberation?
Since the Civil War blacks have been liberated. The Civil Rights Act, thanks to MLK and the Republicans pulling together against racist southern Democrats like Al Gore’s father, gave blacks the equality of opportunity that they have always deserved.
“Liberation” from WHAT?
“Progress” is “stalled,” Obama says. Progress towards WHAT?
Obama is the reason why our country is today more divided than it was when he took office. Obama’s own divisive policies and actions contribute to racial division and animus.
Actions speak much louder than words. It’s become obvious to most Americans that Obama doesn’t consider himself, truly, to be the president of everyone. This is obvious in the way he reacts differently to events like black Trayvon Martin’s death (caused by a man who acted in self-defense when attacked by Martin) versus the unprovoked murders of white Australian Christopher Lane and white WWII veteran Delbert Belton.
Has Obama yet said one word about Delbert Belton, an elderly veteran, or sent sympathies to his family (like he sent to Martin’s family)? (One commenter at The Blaze believes that Obama did make an “oblique reference” to Belton in his speech when he opined that young blacks ought to respect elderly whites. You be the judge.)
Has Obama yet called the family of Christopher Lane, as he called the black woman who prevented a potential school shooting recently in GA? (She’s a heroine and deserves all of our praise, but that’s beside the point.)
Would Obama have called her had she been white? The very fact that we have to wonder proves my point.
When Obama’s Department of Justice announces that it will not pursue civil rights charges against anyone if the victim is not black, that says it all.
When Obama’s Department of Justice ignores intimidation of white voters by black thugs, that says it all.
When Obama’s IRS targets mostly white Tea Party groups for political reasons, that says it all.
When Obama ignores white crime victims if the perpetrators are black, that says it all.
When Obama’s Department of Justice does not investigate, much less issue hate crime charges against, the many black perpetrators who “play” the Knock Out “game” against non-blacks all across the country (hundreds of attacks, including murders), that says it all.
