The world dramatically changed on November 4, 2008, when a tolerance of hatred came through the door with the election of Senator Barack Obama as US President.
Hatred, like evil, had always been part of man’s world, but never crowned by the White House.
Before Obama’s rock star-like election, the hatred originating from public figures like Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who until responding about the death of Muammar Qaddafi, loved Obama: “We voted for our brother Barack, a beautiful human being with a sweet heart. Now he’s an assassin”, was tolerated.
Even last week, Farrakhan and his security contingent held pedestrians on New York streets back after he attended a private dinner honouring UN visiting Iranian President Hassain Rouhani. Tolerance of hatred 101.
Back in the 2008 presidential campaign, the mainstream media reeled with shock when Jeremiah Wright spewed the hate-filled words, “God Damn America” at Trinity United Church of Christ, but tolerated the brotherly hatred of Obama by not demanding to know why he attended the same church since his wedding day.
Even though the hatred of Obama toward the U.S. has been palpable ever since his election, it is tolerated. Proof of that tolerance was showcased when he was re-elected last November.
Farrakhan’s and Wright’s hatred of the U.S., which gives both a comfortable, rich man’s life, is manifest in the spewing of spitting mad, hate-filled words. But nobody is forced to be a member of the Nation of Islam or an attendee of the Trinity United Church of Christ.
As President of the United States of America, Obama’s hatred is something that cannot be avoided.
Obama’s hatred comes in the persona of the worst possible combination: that of a Marxist Muslim.
This is a president who gives voice to his abiding hatred for Americans by constantly putting his own country down when addressing the parliaments and kingdoms of countries who mainstream Americans would regard as America’s enemies.
Millions of these Americans must lie awake nights pondering why politicians on both sides of the political arena tolerate Obama’s hatred of America with such ease.
The messages Obama sends out to the Free World go much further than any of the hate spewed by the likes of Farrakhan and Wright.
Words have meanings and when Obama announced “We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation” in Ankara, Turkey, on April 6, 2009, his words did not fall on deaf ears among those who follow the terrorism of radical Islam.
In the lead up to his 2012 reelection, Obama told the world “al Qaeda is on the run”.
In 2013, he’s funding elements of al Qaeda in the Muslim Brotherhood. It was to Obama that al Qaeda ran.
In the immortal words of Dr. Martin Luther King: “Hate begets hate; violence begets violence.”
The tolerance of hatred now smothering America is breeding spinoffs in the world of international terrorism. The bodies of children with the knives that killed them still in their backs were found in refrigerators at the Westgate Mall in Nairobi. Innocent civilians had their eyes gouged out and some were pushed screaming to their deaths from Mall balconies.
It is a visceral hatred masquerading as a religion that can never be tamed by any amount of ‘interfaith’ attempts that drove the terrorist attack in Nairobi.
