(Feb. 3, 2014) — On January 28, 2014, Michigan gubernatorial candidate Mark McFarlin held a press conference wherein an official from the Michigan Vital Records Department handed him a certified, stamped copy of his long-form birth certificate demonstrating that he is eligible to occupy the office he seeks if he is elected in November.
A video of the event was released exclusively to The Post & Email by Michael Volin of WheresObamasBirthCertificate.com, who obtained it from McFarlin. Volin has hosted McFarlin on his radio program on several occasions to discuss anomalies found in the long-form birth certificate image posted on the White House website purported to be a certified copy of Barack Hussein Obama’s Certificate of Live Birth from Hawaii.
Obama’s biography states that he was born on August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Children’s Medical Center in Honolulu, although no official will confirm the claim. Moreover, an official biography of Obama was changed in 2007 to say that he was born in Hawaii instead of Kenya, Obama’s stated birthplace between 1991 and 2007, when he announced his candidacy for the presidency.
Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution requires the president and commander-in-chief to be a “natural born Citizen,” which may involve more than a simple birth on U.S. soil.
The January 28 event was announced on Volin’s show last Wednesday.
McFarlin, a licensed private investigator, has doubts about the authenticity of the image uploaded to the White House server on April 27, 2011 and has followed the investigation of the Maricopa County, AZ Cold Case Posse for some time. On March 1, 2012, Cold Case Posse lead investigator Mike Zullo held a press conference during which he and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced that the then-six-month-old investigation had concluded that Obama’s birth certificate image and purported Selective Service registration form are “computer-generated forgeries.”
On July 17, 2012, Zullo and Arpaio announced at a second press conference that the evidence of forgery in their possession surpassed the standard of probable cause, asking Congress to launch an investigation. However, neither Congress nor the major media took action.
More recently, Zullo stated on several radio shows that in regard to Obama, “there was never a birth in Hawaii.”
One week before his press conference, McFarlin requested a certified copy of his birth record on an official form sent to Glenn Copeland, Director of Vital Records in Michigan, with the required $34.00 payment. He was asked for photo identification, as explained on the Michigan Department of Community Health’s website. McFarlin stated that he was given a “scanned copy with the raised seal” rather than the original document, which is standard procedure.
Although approximately a dozen members of the local media were invited, McFarlin said none attended. “They had seven days; we contacted them one week before by email,” he said. “We wanted to give them ample time, and a lot of them are right there in Lansing.”
McFarlin said that he sees “a lot of errors on the [Obama] birth certificate,” including that the race of the father, expressed as “African,” is an inaccurate term for the era and also “not a race.” Zullo’s investigation had cited the same abnormality during the July 2012 press conference, explaining that the term used would have been “Negro.”
As of the release of this article, McFarlin has officially issued a challenge to Barack Hussein Obama II to publicly “duplicate the process” which he used to request, obtain, and reveal to the public a certified copy of his long-form birth certificate showing a clear chain of custody within the next 30 days.
Early last month, Volin sent a letter by certified mail to Obama at the White House making the same request copied to every member of Congress.
Zullo and Arpaio have stated that “universe-shattering” information germane to their investigation into Obama’s background will be released in March.
