Republican Senate candidate Chris McDaniel spent this weekend rolling around Mississippi on the Tea Party Express bus, along with a motley assortment of fringe right-wing extremists.

McDaniel’s fellow travelers in his last tour before today's runoff election against Sen. Thad Cochran included Wayne Allyn Root, who told audiences that President Obama is a “Manchurian candidate” who lied about his resume; a songwriting duo known for the anti-immigrant song “Press 1 for English”; and notoriously anti-gay, anti-Muslim, anti-many-other-people American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer, who granted McDaniel what he said was his very first public endorsement of a candidate for office.

At the group’s stop in Biloxi, Root — a one-time Libertarian Party nominee for vice president — regaled the crowd with his theory that President Obama is a “Manchurian candidate” who “cut his Afro” in order to infiltrate the government, collapse the economy and create a permanent Democratic majority.

Strangely, although Root implies that President Obama did not actually attend Columbia University, he also claims that the president learned this “Manchurian” strategy at Columbia.

Root also told the crowd that “we’re the makers and Obama’s voters are the takers,” claiming that conservative radio exists because conservatives are listening to the radio on their way to work, while liberals are “home collecting their checks watching Oprah and Jerry Springer and ads for personal injury attorneys.”

BR note: the following is Wayne Allyn Root's response to RWW for editing his recent comments...

Right Wing Watch chose to put that I said Saul Alinsky said "cut your afro." Which is selectively cut to sound racist. When I have clearly said hundreds of times in speeches and commentaries that Alinsky said "cut your hair or your afro….put on a suit and tie. Call yourself a moderate and uniter, not divider. Always distract and hide your true intensions." The comment has nothing to do with race.

Right Wing Watch also claims that I'm inconsistent because they claim I infer Obama wasn't at Columbia…yet I say he learned to hate America…and learned the Saul Alinsky and Cloward Piven plans to overwhelm the system and destroy capitalism at Columbia. What they don't seem to understand (or don't want to understand) is that I've NEVER anywhere said Obama didn't go to Columbia.

I've said in countless interviews that I never saw Obama or heard of him at Columbia. He rarely or never went to class. Obama himself has backed up my claims. I believe it was AP who wrote a story on his Columbia days back in 2007 or 2008 and called Obama "the ghost of Columbia." Obama has said in numerous interviews that he was a loner…made few friends…and basically hid in the library where he kept to himself. His words. That's exactly what I've said for 6 years now. That he wasn't in class. That he was unknown to virtually everyone at Columbia- even professors like Henry Graff who remember everyone (let alone a future President). I've always said he WAS there. But I've always said the story is strange. Isn't it?

I've speculated he spent much of his time smoking pot with his drug addicted Pakistani roommate (again that was pointed out by various media)…and hanging out with his terrorist buddy Bill Ayers plotting the downfall of America…and going to communist party meetings.

That's consistently what I've said for 6 long years. Sure enough it turns out in Obama's own autobiography he admitted going often to socialist party meetings at Cooper Union. Real life is often more amazing than fantasy. To me that clearly makes my guesses 100% on the money. To me that makes him a bad guy. To me that makes him an enemy of capitalism. Or are people who attend socialist meetings and idolize Alinsky and Karl Marx friends of capitalism? The problem is leftists just hate the truth. They want to be called "progressives." Or "liberals." Anything but what they are- communists and socialists. They know those words frighten Americans.

Even though studies show that a large portion…in some polls a majority...of Democrats favor socialism over capitalism. Even though Obama's policies are exactly the same as those of the leaders of Greece, Spain and France- who all call themselves SOCIALISTS.

Funny how the truth hurts.

In my new book, "THE MURDER OF THE MIDDLE CLASS" I also point out that Obama had the same attitude as a Columbia student as he has as president- arrogant, aloof, above it all. He thought he was too good to attend class at Columbia, just as today he rarely attends important meetings as President. He skips National Security meetings. He did not hold one meeting of his Jobs Council for over a year, while he attended fundraisers, played golf and watched movies at the White House Film Festival.

That's a guy who doesn't care about his country or economy. Or is purposely fiddling while Rome burns to distract us from the truth. Under Obama…WE ARE ROME.

And I believe everything tragic happening to America today...started at Columbia.
