As reported here, back in April 2014, St. Louis police officer and retired green beret, Sergeant Major Dan Page spoke at an Oath Keeper meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, where he ripped to shreds Obama and the progressive left.

Sgt. Mjr. Page's speech was over an hour long and covered various political and social issues including his life-long military service and Obama's ineligibility to be president. Although some of his commentary may be offensive to some he is still entitled to practice his First Amendment Right to Free Speech without fear of punishment.

Fast forward to August 2014. Suspected strong-arm robber and his suspected accomplice are walking down the middle of the road after just robbing a convenience store and an officer, unbeknownst of the robbery, asked the two to get out of the middle of the road and walk on the side. The large robber, unbeknownst the police officer is unbeknownst of the robbery, apparently attacked the officer while he was inside his cruiser and purportedly a struggle for the firearm ensues with the officer being pummeled in the face by the 300lb robber. The officer then purportedly shoots and kills the suspected robber after being charged again by the 300lb robber.
Cue every racist, race-baiting, so-called Civil Rights Group, the Communist/Marxist groups, and the Big 6 Media.
They all mobilize and converge on Ferguson like flies on Obama. CNN's Don Lemon was reporting live from the astro-turfed protest where fmr. New Black Panther leader Malik Shabazz was rabble rousing. ( Yes. The same Malik Shabazz that defended his fellow Panther whom advocated they start killing white babies. Also, the same Malik Shabazz name that has appeared in the White House visitor logs.) You won't here Lemon report that!

Activist-Reporter Don Lemon and the protesters were asked numerous times by police officers, including Sgt. Mjr. Dan Page, to move back and they disobeyed law enforcement orders so the officers extended their arms to move back the ruckus crowd. The Lemon apparently believes he is above the law and does not have to obey law enforcement or laws. Most places have laws in place on public assembly. Just because someone is shot doesn't give people the right to break the law. Now, Lemon is whining that he was pushed by Sgt. Mjr. Page and is using Page's previous commentary against him to get him punished, which so far has worked.
Did CNN's Don Lemon report about New Black Panther Party leader Hashim Nzinga's recent comments in Ferguson where he proclaimed that Obama was born in Kenya? Bet not!
Lemon (and Big 6 Media) is not there to report news. They're there to create news. The exact opposite of what the media is supposed to do. It should be a crime for what the media is actively doing and in some cases not doing.
As a commenter points out at Vanity Fair:
Mr. Lemon releases a tape of the officer making questionable statements and then digs in CNN's files and brings out an old tape of himself being asked to move back during a separate event. No pushing or shoving just an officer, along with other officers, trying to move the crowd along.This tape is so vanilla CNN does not use it at real time. Actually, Mr. Lemon defies this order and moves past the officer and continues his broadcast. No actions are taken against Mr. Lemon by the officer for this and things continue peacefully. The officer actually moves on. Then Mr. Lemon finds or is given a tape of a past speech by the officer and inserts himself as a victim at a non related event. Shame on Mr. Lemon and CNN. As we all look for the truth what we get is this disgraceful orchestration and self serving manipulation of events in order to sway a news report. If the officer is suspended for betraying the public trust then it would seem reasonable that Mr. Lemon be suspended for using his position to betray the public trust. Not excusing the officers past statements but they were made at a private event and Mr. Lemon used a public forum to sway public opinion inferring he was abused at the hands of this officer. I have seen more pushing and shoving at the snack bar of an under 10 soccer game.
USA Today reports: Chief: St. Louis County cop on leave after video tirade
St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar told USA TODAY in a telephone interview Friday that once he learned of the tape, sought it out and viewed it himself, he immediately placed Page on administrative leave.
"I don't legally have the authority to fire an individual like that," Belmar said. "I will tell you that if he were a probationary officer, he would not (have the latitude of an investigation) and I would have fired him an hour and a half ago."
There will be an internal affairs investigation and a psychological review and then "we will go from there," Belmar said.
