(Oct. 9, 2014) — On Wednesday, Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch founder Atty. Larry Klayman was radio host Alan Colmes’s guest speaking about his efforts to compel the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to hold a status hearing on Barack Hussein Obama and deport him if he is found to be an illegal alien.
Klayman has been Colmes’s guest previously speaking about his belief, based on a preponderance of evidence compiled by a law enforcement investigation, among other sources, that Obama has hidden the truth about his background and citizenship.
Going back to at least 2004, online news reports stated that Obama was “Kenyan-born” or born in Indonesia. Obama’s own biography stated that he was “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii” from 1991 to 2007, shortly after he declared his candidacy for the U.S. presidency.
Article II, Section 1, clause 5 requires that the president and commander-in-chief be a “natural born Citizen.”
At the opening of the segment, Colmes claimed that the two “birth certificates” released on the internet bearing Obama’s purported name have been “adjudicated.”
Klayman corrected Colmes, explaining that no court has ever “adjudicated” the authenticity of the proffered documents. Dozens of eligibility lawsuits and ballot challenges have been filed since 2008 as a result of which no judge ordered Obama to produce his original birth records or any other identity documents.
A three-year criminal investigation into the long-form birth certificate posted on the White House website on April 27, 2011 found after six months that the image is a “computer-generated forgery.” Speaking of Obama, Klayman told Colmes that “he’s never come forward with an original birth certificate that shows that it wasn’t doctored…”
Klayman explained that Obama has called Kenya his “native country,” to which Colmes responded that “Hawaii” meets that definition. Klayman corrected Colmes by stating that Hawaii is not a country. Michelle Obama has also referred to Kenya as her husband’s “home country.”
Colmes argued that Obama’s purported “American mother” would have “made him an American citizen.” In very limited coverage of the Obama eligibility controversy, the media has routinely conflated the terms “citizen” and “natural-born Citizen,” the latter of which was stipulated by the Framers after John Jay suggested that it was necessary in order to prevent foreign influence from affecting the “Command in chief of the american army.”
Obama reportedly has dispatched 4,000 U.S. troops to West Africa to “fight” the deadly Ebola virus outbreak, from which more than 50% contracting the disease perish.
Klayman then argued that the term “natural born Citizen” comes from “The Law of Nations,” written by Emmerich de Vattel, and describes a person born to two U.S.-citizen parents and a birth on U.S. soil. Citing the case of Minor v. Happersett, Klayman said that neither Sen. Ted Cruz nor Sen. Marco Rubio is eligible for the presidency.
Klayman contends that the Framers of the Constitution “wanted the president at least one step removed from foreign influence,” which he claims Obama exhibits with “his Muslim roots, his African roots.”
“This president will not risk a Muslim life for an American life,” Klayman said, citing the downing of Extortion 17 on August 6, 2011 and the stricter Rules of Engagement which have seen at least three times the U.S. casualties in Afghanistan under Obama than under President George W. Bush.
Klayman accuses Obama as having favored “his own people,” meaning blacks, to which Colmes retorted that “not one person complained of being stopped from voting,” referring to the Black Panthers who positioned themselves with billy-clubs in front of a Philadelphia voting precinct in November 2008 and reportedly menaced white voters. Putative Attorney General Eric Holder chose not to prosecute the defendants despite obtaining a default judgment against them.
“It’s payback time,” Klayman told Colmes of the treatment which he believes whites, Christians and Jews are currently receiving from the Obama regime. He also argued that blacks have benefited more from Obama’s health care law, known as “Obamacare,” which he believes was Obama’s intent.
Colmes cited an article published at The Daily Caller, which Colmes considers a “conservative” publication, in which author Eric Owens wrote of Klayman, “he just can’t quit his years-long, increasingly bizarre quest to demonstrate that President Obama is not a natural-born citizen under Article II of the United States Constitution.” Klayman’s response was, “You know the game, Alan. I like [Daily Caller Editor-in-Chief] Tucker [Carlson]; he’s kind-of a friend. What happens is these ‘conservative’ publications sometimes that are more in the center try to look moderate, and they try to become socially acceptable. This has been a throwaway issue for Republicans and conservatives to make them look like they’re magnanimous. That’s what Tucker’s doing here.” Klayman said he found Owens’ article “helpful” in spreading the word about his petition to DHS.
Carlson is a co-anchor of the weekend edition of Fox & Friends. The Post & Email does not generally cite The Daily Caller because of its advertising, which we categorize as adult material and not in keeping with our family-friendly policy.
Late last year, Klayman sued the Obama regime for allowing the National Security Administration (NSA) to collect massive amounts of data from cell phones, land lines, emails and other internet activity from virtually every American, including those not suspected of any terrorist or criminal activity. Federal Judge Richard C. Leon ruled that the NSA’s data collection on Americans is “likely unconstitutional” but suspended curtailment of the activity pending the government’s appeal.
Klayman said that if DHS does not take action on his deportation request, he will file a petition for a Writ of Mandamus to force it. “What’s the harm in looking at it?” he asked Colmes rhetorically.
Klayman told colmes that he believes Obama is “evil” and intent on “destroying this country.” Colmes appeared aghast that anyone would term Obama as having “evil intent” and asked Klayman if he were comparing Obama to the Ku Klux Klan. “I am,” he replied.
Referring to the rise of Islamic terrorists in the Middle East, Klayman stated that Obama’s managing of the situation shows that he “didn’t want to kill his Muslim brothers en masse.” Colmes countered with the claim that Obama is “trying to clean up the mess” which President George W. Bush allegedly caused in Iraq.
Klayman maintained that while Fox News tells “the other side of the story” as compared to the rest of the mainstream media, its anchors and commentators “are very careful just to say he’s ‘incompetent,’ he doesn’t know what he’s doing…” “He’s competent, he’s highly smart,” Klayman declared in response.
During the interview, Klayman did not specifically mention the work of the Maricopa County Cold Case Posse which has conducted the three-year criminal investigation, determining that Obama’s long-form birth certificate and Selective Service registration form are “computer-generated forgeries.” However, he is aware of it as evidenced by lead investigator Mike Zullo’s lengthy affidavit submitted to the Alabama Supreme Court in a case Klayman filed in March 2013 claiming that then-Alabama Secretary of State Beth Chapman failed to properly vet presidential candidates before the 2012 election.
Zullo has stated publicly that Obama has “used four aliases,” and a confidante, pastor and radio show host Carl Gallups, stated on his show that Obama has “lied about who he is.”
Colmes appeared not to understand why Klayman believes that outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder is “racist” by flying to Ferguson, MO after a white police officer killed a black 18-year-old, Michael Brown. Holder ordered the FBI to investigate Brown’s death and met with Brown’s parents but did not do the same after six white police officers were killed in Philadelphia over the last two years by blacks.
Klayman said he “does not need the press anymore.” He said that anyone critical of Obama is called “racist.”
On October 3, The Post & Email contacted Klayman’s press representative with questions on his petition to deport Obama but did not receive a response, as has occurred on several previous occasions.
