Exclusive: Sheriff Arpaio and Mike Zullo Address Surprise, AZ Tea Party Meeting
    INVESTIGATION “TURNED VERY DARK”
Sharon Rondeau | The Post & Email

(Nov. 19, 2014) — On Tuesday evening, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Cold Case Posse lead investigator Mike Zullo addressed a regularly-scheduled meeting of the Surprise Tea Party, the same group whose members approached Arpaio more than three years ago about the reported forgery of Barack Hussein Obama’s long-form birth certificate.

The birth certificate image was posted on the White House website on April 27, 2011 and quickly denounced as fraudulent by experts. After approximately 250 Tea Partiers asked Arpaio to determine whether or not the experts were correct in their assessments, Arpaio delegated his Cold Case Posse, which works at no expense to taxpayers, to open a probe in September 2011.

Arpaio had believed that a cursory examination of the image would “clear the president,” but instead, it led the five-member team to conclude that the image was constructed on a computer without originating from a paper document.

A three-year investigation has ensued, with Arpaio opening his own separate investigation at an unannounced time stemming from the Cold Case Posse’s findings.

On March 1, 2012, Zullo and Arpaio held the first of two press conferences at which they stated that Obama’s long-form birth certificate and Selective Service registration form are “computer-generated forgeries.” The mainstream press failed to investigate or widely report those conclusions, and many Americans went to the polls in November 2012 to re-elect Obama without the knowledge that his only “documents” were, according to Zullo and Arpaio, created “with the intent to deceive.”

On Wednesday, The Post & Email interviewed two attendees at Tuesday evening’s meeting who were also part of the original group of Tea Party members who approached Arpaio in August 2011.

Late last year, Zullo stated that one or two press conferences will be held to reveal new information to the American people which he described as “gut-wrenching.” Arpaio was expected to present his discoveries last March, but new information became available which lengthened the investigation.

One of the two attendees said that Arpaio “mostly talked about illegal immigration and he’s going to take up the war on drugs. He left everything on the [Obama] birth issue to Mike.”

Zullo spoke about the posse’s activities, reminding the listeners that the “first nine months” of the probe were spent “validating and verifying information that somebody else gave them.” Zullo reportedly said that following that period, the investigation “took a life of its own.”

“That’s something I didn’t realize,” said the attendee.

Zullo also said that he had spoken with multiple members of Congress about the forgeries who reportedly told him, “We’re not going to do anything.”

“He said that now with Obama’s popularity shrinking, people are starting to call, so that’s encouraging,” said the first attendee.

Zullo “said that the investigation that they started ‘turned very dark,’ whatever ‘dark’ means,” the individual added.

Arpaio has had a “monitor” assigned to his office by the U.S. Department of Justice but told the Tea Party that he plans to continue to make arrests to enforce existing illegal drug laws. In 2012, the Justice Department sued Arpaio’s office on allegations that it discriminated against Latinos, a charge that was upheld in court and resulted in the monitor.

The Obama regime is poised to announce “executive action” on Thursday to effectively change existing immigration policy without Congress.

In August 2012, a DOJ probe into Arpaio’s alleged abuse of power was “quietly closed.”

The attendee told us that Arpaio announced that he has filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Justice Department which was “reported on the news this morning.”
