Not a conspiracy theory > the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office declared Obama's birth certificate a forgery.
Not really sure which republican leaders continue to pursue the birther issue as the writer above claims. It would be great if Parker listed these republicans in his attempt to bash any who questions The One. Or in this case; No One.
The main person to blame for all of this is Obama himself... Especially when it comes to the born in Kenya scandal.

L.A. PARKER: Christie’s ‘Freedom Summit’ jabs at Obama toe the party line
Republicans continue to pursue birther issues even as President Barack Obama heads toward a presidential exit.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appeared to engage Obama’s birthplace and religious background last week during his turn on stage at the Iowa Freedom Summit.
Christie delivered himself as the East Coast version of the Great Communicator Ronald Reagan, a no-nonsense New Jerseyan who always will let people know where he stands although his verbal attack of Obama never mentioned the president by name.
“What we lack in America today is a national leader who we feel we truly know. A national leader who will tell you who he or she is. Where they’re from and how they’ve come to believe the things that they believe in,” Christie said.
Republicans have bludgeoned an idea that Obama was born in Kenya which would disqualify his presidency.
Conspiracy theories allege President Obama presented a forged copy of his birth certificate, one that confirmed his birth on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Christie, the straight talker, injected his point of view with criticism that a “national leader,” and it’s no great stretch that he meant Obama, could not reveal where they are from.
Gov. Christie next hinted at another great GOP consideration that President Obama is Muslim with his wish that a “national leader” would tell Americans “how they’ve come to believe the things that they believe in.”
For Christie, that would mean insights about his Catholic upbringing. According to Tea Party members, Obama would reference the Koran. Christie’s lapdog embrace of bedrock Conservative ideals, especially pro-life, preceded his expected presidential campaign announcement.
While Christie preached to Iowans that they would always know everything about him, he played a game of clue about our “national leader”, rendering a final apprehension of ‘The Muslim Obama. With a fake birth certificate. In the White House.’
