Tumulty says the basic premise behind the birther movement is a racist one ignoring the fact that more Caucasian than non-Caucasian candidates have had their Article II constitutional eligibility questioned.
She also took a swipe at Sheriff Arpaio who just reasserted Obama's birth certificate is fraudulent.
