  • Where's the DEAL on the GA Obama Ballot Challenge? - (Nathan Deal, Republican GA Gov)

    EDITORIAL :

Where does Georgia Republican Governor, Nathan Deal, now stand regarding the ongoing 'Obama Ballot Challenge' in Georgia?

What behind-the-scenes influence, if any, is he likely to exert in the Ballot Challenge fight, based on his previous experiences in dealing with Obama?

As many readers of this forum will probably recall, Nathan Deal, back in late fall 2009 while he was still a GA Congressman, joined with a group of 10 other Congressman to send a letter to Obama requesting to see a copy of his birth certificate.

There has been no public acknowledgement that Deal ever received a reply back from Obama to this reasonable request.
It is very likely that Obama simply ignored the request, as he has done with so many similar requests since that time.

Nathan Deal has since been elected to the powerful position of Governor of Georgia.

The issue of Obama's eligibility to be placed on 2012 ballot in Georgia will be discussed on January 26 in Judge Michael Malihi's court.

I think it is likely that Governor Deal now harbors some very justifiable resentment to the shabby treatment he received as a Georgia Congressman, from an arrogant and evasive Obama, who refused to comply with his reasonable request for eligibility documentation about 2 years ago.

I think it is possible that Deal may quietly and behind-the-scenes, use his political influence to help insure that the case against Obama being heard by Judge Malihi, is given fair and proper treatment.

The case is discussed in the 1/6/2012 article by Joe Wolverton II in the 'New American', which is linked below:

Nathan Deal's letter to Obama is discussed in the 12/04/2009 article by John Charlton in The Post & Email, which is linked below:

Deal's letter is also discussed in the 11/05/2009 article by Jim Galloway in the 'Atlanta Journal and Constitution, which is linked below:

A 2/6/2010 interview of Nathan Deal by Carl Swensson is featured in the video linked below:

It will be interesting to watch what important events transpire in Judge Malihi's court on January 26th! I hope Mr. Deal will be providing all the political influence he can, behind-the-scenes, to insure the hearing is conducted in a fair and proper manner!

July 26th Case v Obama in GA is a 'Slam Dunk' -- REPOST from Defend Our Freedoms F.

To Attorney Orly Taitz from a Supporter

    REPOSTED FROM:
    Defend Our Freedoms Foundation
    1/16/2012

    "Slam Dunk!!

Orly, this case is a slam dunk. Nathan Deal is the governor of Georgia. He was an early supporter of yours, demanding to see the president’s papers. If you don’t think he isn’t pulling the strings here, you’re not seeing the picture correctly. You’ll win in court next Thursday, shut up all of your critics and force Obama’s name off the GA ballot!!"

I wonder if: (1) The below-cited report had any influence on Judge Malihi's shameful decision regarding the Obama Ballot Access Challenge case, and (2) If it did, was Governor Deal in any way involved with the postulated 'quid pro quo'.

It would seem that, for a state-impacting operation this big and important, the state's Governor would almost certainly have been at least aware of it prior to it's occurrence! Therefore, my question is, was the GOVERNOR DEAL involved in any way with THE POSSIBLE OBAMA DEAL?

NRC approves first new nuclear plant in 3 decades

      Associated Press

      Matthew Daly
      2/9/2012

      Excerpts:

"WASHINGTON (AP) — The nation's first new nuclear power plant in a generation won approval Thursday as federal regulators voted to grant a license for two new reactors in Georgia.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission voted 4-1 to approve Atlanta-based Southern Co.'s request to build two nuclear reactors at its Vogtle site south of Augusta.

The vote clears the way for officials to issue an operating license for the reactors, which could begin operating as soon as 2016 and 2017.

The NRC last approved construction of a nuclear plant in 1978, a year before a partial meltdown of the Three Mile Island nuclear plant in Pennsylvania raised fears of a radiation release and brought new reactor orders nearly to a halt."......................

President Barack Obama has offered the Vogtle project $8.3 billion in federal loan guarantees as part of its pledge to expand nuclear power."

      My comment:

Hmmmm! --- "... first new power plant in a generation ..." "... Obama has offered the Vogtle project $8.3 billion in federal loan guarantees ..."

Could this very recent major finance and construction-approval boost for Georgia possibly have been a 'quid pro quo' for Judge Malihi's outrageous decision allowing Obama to illegally appear on the 2012 ballot in Georgia? Nah! - criminal activities like this might take place in some 3rd world 'banana republic' but this type of massive and serious corruption involving the highest levels of the federal government and a state government could NEVER happen here in the good ole USA! (extreme sarc!)
