Good Stuff: Is Medved On Meds; Rand Paul Super PAC Goes Birther; Media All Over Map

    Michael Medved is sickened that a political action committee would use Cruz's Canadian citizenship status in a political ad. Medved is off his rocker in regards to the Article II presidential eligibility requirement. His two minute rant here;

Canadian media almost got it right but flubbed the Article II requirement. Though, they did create some great gifs.

    Excerpt via National Post:

The first attack ad of the 2016 presidential race goes after Republican hopeful Ted Cruz’s Canadian birthplace.

Cruz was born to American parents living in Alberta, so while he’s technically a naturalized U.S. citizen, which is a requirement to run for president, he actually lived in Canada until he was four. [..National Post.]

As you already know the American media isn't any better ,,,

    Excerpt via The Hill:

    [...]

It also needles Obama’s “so-called conservative accomplices,” Cruz (R-Texas) and Graham (R-S.C.). Cruz, referred to by the super PAC as the “capitulating Canadian” as a dig against the fact that the GOP candidate was born in the country, supports a compromise bill called the USA Freedom Act. [...] The Hill.

    Excerpt via Politistick:

    [...]

Cruz, who was born in Canada to a mother who was born in the United States and a father who was born in Cuba, has been determined by the National Constitution Center and other experts to be eligible to run for the office of President, is no doubt a target of Camp Paul’s attempt to pander to his fringe birther base. [...] Politistick.

    Excerpt via Dallas Morning News:

    [...]

Most legal scholars say Cruz, born in Calgary to an American-born mother, is still eligible to be president.

Cruz’s campaign declined to comment on the ad. [...] Dallas Morning News.

    Hot Air:

    [...] Hot Air.

Breitbart News forgot about Cruz's birth in Canada and the Article II requirement:

    [...] Breitbart News.

Both CNN and Washington comPost failed to mention the elephant in the room; Article II Presidential Eligibility!
