Exclusive—Sarah Palin: 'It's Time to Impeach' President Obama

    Breitbart / Big-Government

    Sarah Palin
    7/8/2014

    Excerpt:

Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, “no mas.”

Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept. Discrediting the price paid for America’s exceptionalism over our history, he’s given false hope and taxpayer’s change to millions of foreign nationals who want to sneak into our country illegally. Because of Obama’s purposeful dereliction of duty an untold number of illegal immigrants will kick off their shoes and come on in, competing against Americans for our jobs and limited public services. There is no end in sight as our president prioritizes parties over doing the job he was hired by voters to do. Securing our borders is obviously fundamental here; it goes without saying that it is his job.

The federal government is trillions of dollars in debt; many cities are on the verge of insolvency; our overrun healthcare system, police forces, social services, schools, and our unsustainably generous welfare-state programs are stretched to the max. We average Americans know that. So why has this issue been allowed to be turned upside down with our “leader” creating such unsafe conditions while at the same time obstructing any economic recovery by creating more dependents than he allows producers? His friendly wealthy bipartisan elite, who want cheap foreign labor and can afford for themselves the best “border security” money can buy in their own exclusive communities, do not care that Obama tapped us out.

Have faith that average American workers – native-born and wonderful legal immigrants of all races, backgrounds, and political parties – do care because we’re the ones getting screwed as we’re forced to follow all our government’s rules while others are not required to do so. Many now feel like strangers in their own land. It’s the American worker who is forced to deal with Obama’s latest crisis with our hard-earned tax dollars while middle class wages decrease, sustainable jobs get more scarce, and communities become unrecognizable and bankrupted due to Obama’s flood of illegal immigration.

Who’s looking out for the American workers? Who has their backs? Who fights for them?

    We should.

President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here. It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along, and, mark my words, will next meddle in the U.S. Court System with appointments that will forever change the basic interpretation of our Constitution’s role in protecting our rights.

Boehner disagrees with Palin on impeaching Obama

    The Washington Post

    Ed O'Keefe
    7/9/2014

Excerpt: July 9 at 11:17 AM

Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Tuesday joined a growing chorus of Republicans calling for the impeachment of Obama, writing in an op-ed that the influx of young illegal immigrants over the southern border "is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, 'no mas.' "

"I disagree," Boehner said when asked by reporters Wednesday morning. When a reporter pointed out that some House Republicans also are calling for impeachment, Boehner said again: "I disagree."

Boehner's comments came after Palin said Tuesday night on Fox News that the speaker's planned lawsuit against Obama over his use of executive power is a weak maneuver. "You don't bring a lawsuit to a gunfight," she said. "There's no place for lawyers on the front lines."

Palin on Boehner Lawsuit: 'You Don't Bring a Lawsuit to a Gunfight'

      Breitbart / Breitbart-TV

      Jeff Poor
      7/8/14

On Tuesday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) elaborated on the op-ed she wrote that appeared exclusively on Breitbart.com earlier in the day calling for President Barack Obama’s impeachment.

Palin told host Sean Hannity it should be the aim of Congress to halt the “imperial presidency” and that it is time to use the impeachment tool in Congress’ arsenal.
"[Obama] has allowed fraud -- his subordinates and he himself to defraud the American people on these programs, these policies that he has promised will work or will not impact debt or deficits,” she said. “These have been lies by our president. Those are impeachable offenses. Sean, experts and attorneys, they have a list of at least 25 impeachable offenses. Now, GOP lawmakers know this too. I really want Congress to do its job, the constitutional power that they have, to halt an imperial presidency, to halt this fundamental transformation of America that is making us an unrecognizable mess of a nation at this time.”

Some have argued, including former Nixon administration official Pat Buchanan that impeachment is politically untenable and other means should be pursued against Obama. However, according to Palin, the lawsuit filed by House Speaker John Boehner falls short.

Sarah Palin: Time To Impeach Obama Now; Halt An Imperial Presidency; Boehner Responds

( Video via Fox News @ Special Stuff Mix )

July 8, 2014 - ( Fox News ) - Sean Hannity Interviews Sarah Palin - Time to Impeach Obama Now ! Sarah Palin joined Sean Hannity tonight to explain why she's now calling for President Obama's impeachment; namely, she's tired of the president's lawlessness and use of executive power, and the Republicans can't just "bring a lawsuit to a gunfight," they need to "halt an imperial presidency."

Palin argued that Obama is becoming an imperial president who's "lying to the American people" that needs to be reined in. She dismissed the idea this would be a losing issue for Republicans and, in fact, argued that the impeachment of the president is a bipartisan issue that plenty of Democrats should be able to find agreement with.

Hannity wondered if the GOP would seriously take this up. Palin said if they don't have the "cojones," they should, and declared that any person who cares about the safety and security of the nation needs to get behind filing articles of impeachment because "enough is enough." - Via Youtube.

        USA Today

House Speaker John Boehner may want to sue President Obama, but he says he doesn’t want to impeach him.

Asked at the Capitol on Wednesday whether he agrees with Sarah Palin that Obama should face impeachment charges, the House’s top Republican simply said: “I disagree.”

Boehner is pursuing a lawsuit against Obama, charging that the president “has not faithfully executed the laws” on a wide range of issues, including health care. The speaker said in an op-ed column for CNN that the GOP-controlled House will bring legislation to the floor this month authorizing such a lawsuit.

Palin said in Breitbart News that Obama’s response to an influx of immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border illegally “is the last straw” and called for the president’s impeachment. [...] More @ USA Today. Video here.
