Some are calling for Trump to drop out of the race. Keep in mind this whole McCain/Trump issue started when McCain called Trump's supporters crazies, which likely stems from McCain's opposition to birthers, starting in 2008;
John McCain went as far as using the birther issue to smear his opponent during his reelection campaign;
Trump was just responding to McCain's initial attack. Not surprising the media and others twisted Trump's words, as noted by award winning investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson;
Predictably, the birther issue gets inserted as if wanting the Article II eligibility requirement enforced is bad.
Sunday Trump was interviewed by ABC's Martha Raddatz and doubled down on his McCain remarks;
One thing is for sure Trump is exposing all of the spineless weasels within the Republican party;
I think not being born on U.S. soil to two U.S. citizen parents is a disqualifier to serve as Commander-in-Chief.
I also find the contempt for the Article II requirement far more serious than Trump's views about McCain.
Donald Trump is taking it up a notch by publishing a blistering response to McCain in the USA Today;

An article in the Washington Post today is headlined, “Trump slams McCain for being ‘captured’ in Vietnam.”
The article’s lead sentence states, “Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump slammed Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a decorated Vietnam War veteran, on Saturday by saying McCain was not a war hero because he was captured by the North Vietnamese [emphasis added].”
Is this report accurate?

“It’s not just absurd. It’s offensive. It’s ridiculous. And I do think it is a disqualifier to serve as Commander-in-Chief,” Rubio said on CNN’s “Face the Nation.”
Trump said Sunday has a few regrets, but raising the birther issue or implying Mexico is sending over criminals are not among them.
“I will win the Hispanic vote,” he declared.
He even equated his own belligerent comments to people making fun of his hair.
“When people attack me, I let them have it back. … People are constantly attacking my hair. I don’t see you coming to my defense. My hair is just fine.” [...] New York Post.

Act of 2015, which allows Obama, who McCain lost to in a record defeat, to push his dangerous Iran nuclear agreement through the Senate without a supermajority of votes.
