First-Ever Florida Ballot Challenge Constitutional Eligibility Conference Report

    Obama State Ballot Challenge 2012

    GeorgeM
    4/22/2012

    Excerpts:

"Florida presents a potentially fertile ground for ballot challenges. Statutes support it (although Mike V. points out some astonishing contradictions), notwithstanding previous lies from the now-departed previous Secretary of State. Certain types of cases may be filed in any county. There are plenty of very Conservative counties, presenting a greater chance of finding a Conservative judge. Finally, Florida is a swing state with lots of electoral votes. A loss or disqualification there would probably cost the election and also gain enormous energy for the eligibility movement.

Sam Sewell became Florida Ballot Challenge Project Manager by virtue of his extensive knowledge/understanding of the issues, communication and leadership skills. Also, because no one else seemed to be anxious to do it and some of us drafted him, for all of the aforementioned reasons. He’s an ordained clergyman and a Pastoral Psychotherapist, not a lawyer, which may be an advantage. Finally, I’ll say it so he won’t first: he never lets you forget that he is a MENSA member. Sam has written several excellent pieces on eligibility, both technical and designed to educate the general public. All appeared on his “Steady Drip” blog and some appeared in American Thinker, local media and other places, like here on Obamaballotchallenge.com.

I’m told that about 50 mostly very enthusiastic people showed up for the conference, including Republican officials, 912 group officers, lawyers, two plaintiffs, two more anonymous would-be plaintiffs, donors and potential donors to legal actions. Speakers were Sam Sewell, Mike Voeltz, Jerry Collette and Larry Klayman. They covered the Constitutional presidential eligibility issue, its importance, especially given the current usurpation, lies and fraud, far more serious than the only other ineligible President, Chester A. Arthur. Finally, they described what is being done about it and what should still be done. Mike and Jerry described their cases and potential opposition objections. Mike stated that Florida is claiming we have no case because no one ever claimed O is eligible. The fact that we are now challenging him and demand an answer is being ignored so far. Jerry has now received a motion to dismiss. They emphasized that your support is urgently needed."

Florida Ballot Challenge Press Conference Preliminary Report

    April 21, 2012

"The first press conference in the state for the Florida Ballot Challenge was held in Naples, Florida on Saturday, April 21st 2012.

We showed up at the rented hall at 12:15 for a 1 PM press conference. Despite the fact that it was a rainy day, people were already lined up as the custodian opened the doors. People quickly pitched in to set up the room. The hall quickly filled up and we started on time. Sam Sewell opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and introductory comments, including a humorous story that got belly laughs and applause.

Mike Voeltz gave us a report on his case to keep Obama off the ballot, which was filed in February 2012 against Obama and the Secretary of State, and then later amended by iconic public interest attorney Larry Klayman. Mike was very professional and made a powerful presentation. A local attorney in attendance who has been advising Sam was unaware that Mike is not an attorney and made arrangements to collaborate with Mike after the press conference.

The crowd enthusiastically received Jerry Collette’s report on his legal case filed against Obama and Florida Democratic Party officials in Pasco County. They especially applauded when he pointed out that the eligibility requirements, by implication, give every citizen the Constitutional right to not be governed by anyone who does not meet the Constitutional requirements of the office."
