Joe Biden’s Most Glaring And Appalling Lie Last Night

While the creeping ‘em out across America sneering and laughter of Vice President Biden appears to be getting the most attention this morning, there was a shocking lie during last night’s debate that fully exposes Joe Biden as a man who struggles with both truth and reality almost as much as his boss – President Barack Obama. To lie about his support of wars where thousands of Americans have made the ultimate sacrifice to the United States of America is particularly troubling though.
The Vice President said the following during the debate regarding votes to initiate use of American military force both in Afghanistan and then later in Iraq in 2001 and 2002:
“I was there, I voted against them,” Biden continued. “I said, no, we can’t afford that.”
WRONG. Then-Senator Joe Biden voted in favor of BOTH wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Biden voted for the Afghanistan resolution on Sept. 14, 2001 and for a resolution authorizing unilateral military action in Iraq on October 11, 2002.
