The website octsurprise.com (October Surprise) claims to have 6 documents that will change the 2012 election. The site says they will release the documents on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 5:30 EST.
An image of the purported document was posted on the community forum at Buzzfeed which was blurred out. Looking at it it appears to be an IRS form of some sort. Later in the day, 5 more blurred out documents were posted on the same thread below the comment section. Looking at those documents it does not appear to be tax returns.
There is speculation that they could be anything from Romney's tax returns to Obama's college application for financial aid to Libya documents to a PR stunt.
The person running the October Surprise Twitter account gave the following hint:
I guess we will have to wait until Monday the 22nd to find out what they are! http://octsurprise.com
