Miss USA Manages to Find Pageant Hosts After All the Others Drop Out over Trump

Donald Trump‘s comments about Mexican immigrant criminals and rapists had serious repercussions for the Miss USA pageant, because the Trump Organization co-owns Miss Universe. Univision and NBC both backed out of airing it, and every single planned host of the pageant dropped out.
So with Cheryl Burke––a TV host and Dancing with the Stars veteran––and Jeannie Mai––co-host of talk show The Real––and MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts all out of the show, the question would be whether the pageant would be able to get new hosts in time.

According to TheWrap, the new Miss USA pageant hosts are Todd Newton and Alex Wehrley. Newton is an Emmy-winning game show host, and Wehrley is a host of E! News Now and former Miss Wisconsin USA.
