Shock: CNN’s Blitzer Endorses Obamacare Individual Mandate Delay

In a surprising show of backbone, CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer said the president might do well to heed the warnings of Republicans and delay implementation of the individual mandate portion of Obamacare for a year, citing the healthcare exchange websites’ reported multitude of glitches.
“If they weren’t fully ready, they should accept the advice that a lot of Republicans are giving them — delay it another year, get it ready, and make sure it works,” Blitzer said during a segment earlier today.
“They know how to do it, but if they didn’t get it ready on time, then maybe fix the problem and make sure people don’t have to worry about it,” Blitzer told his co-anchor.
Healthcare exchange website glitches have plagued the initial rollout of Obamacare to the point that Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius couldn’t tell Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart how many people have signed up.
