In the wake of Tuesday’s election results, radio host Rush Limbaugh is calling John Kasich and those in the Republican Party establishment “truly delusional” for working to ensure the Ohio governor secures the GOP nomination at a contested convention this summer.
Kasich scored his sole primary victory by winning his home state Tuesday, and then Wednesday morning appeared by phone on NBC’s “Today” show to proffer his analysis of the win:

“Nobody’s gonna get enough delegates to win at the convention. Everyone’s gonna fall short, and that’s what was so big about Ohio. I’m not out to stop Donald Trump or stop anybody else. By winning yesterday in Ohio, I’ve dealt him a very, very big blow to being able to have the number of delegates [to secure the nomination].”
