Email Leaks: Dem Megadonor Tells Colin Powell The Clintons ‘Hate’ Obama For 2008 Loss

Democratic megadonor Jeffrey Leeds told Colin Powell in two separate emails the Hillary Clinton’s legal troubles would not make President Barack Obama, a man she apparently “hates,” upset and cited concern for Clinton’s health back in March 2015.
The emails came through the hacker group DC Leaks who dumped a new trove of documents Tuesday allegedly with information that includes an email conversation between Leeds and his business partner Powell. The emails were later posted on Twitter via the Intercept.
In one Leeds/Powell email conversation going back to March 6, 2016 over a Politico article about Clinton’s primary loss in Maine, Leeds tells Powell that “no one likes her and the criminal thing ain’t over. I don’t think the president would weep if she found herself in real legal trouble. She’ll pummel his legacy if she gets a chance and he knows it.”
