(Nov. 19, 2016) — On Thursday, a former Justice Department prosecutor and current attorney for former NSA and CIA contractor Dennis Montgomery issued a video in conjunction with an article on his website in which Klayman stated that the communications of U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts were “harvested” by at least two U.S. intelligence agencies.
On his Freedom Watch website, Klayman posited that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper committed perjury when he testified to the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2013 and that Montgomery’s revelations, made to U.S. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth and the FBI last year, played a part in Clapper’s to submit his resignation on Wednesday night.
Klayman said that “hundreds of millions of Americans” were spied on by the NSA with Clapper’s knowledge, which was revealed by Edward Snowden prior to Montgomery’s revealing the information he claimed to have.
