A federal judge ruled in 2010 that the Justice Department did not need to notify Fox News Channel reporter James Rosen that his emails, telephone records may be read by federal investigators, according to a report in POLITICO. Chief U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth overruled a decision by a federal magistrate in September, 2010, who had previously determined that Rosen required notification if his personal email account, among other aspects of Rosen’s personal life, were going to be subject to a federal investigation.
“Prosecutors contended that under the statute used to get Rosen’s emails, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, they were not required to provide any notice of the search,” wrote POLITICO’s Josh Gerstein. - [...] Continued at Mediaite.

The Fox News Channel is outraged over new revelations that three of its reporting staffers were targeted by the U.S. Department of Justice in criminal investigations related to their attempts to obtain information from government sources.
James Rosen, the network's chief Washington correspondent, has become a First Amendment cause celebre over his treatment by the Obama administration. Lamberth ordered search and seizure of all the records of the FOX reporter James Rosen on behalf of Obama regime, he already had in his possession all the evidence submitted by me showing Obama using all forged and stolen IDs, that Obama represents the biggest threat to the U.S. National security and Lamberth covered it all up while going after a reporter. How is this not a violation of equal protection? How is this not a complicity by the judiciary? How is this not a violation of his oath of office to defend and protect the Constitution???
