Report: Walid Shoebat Harassed by the Obama Regime

(Sep. 15, 2013) — Former PLO terrorist and Middle East expert Walid Shoebat told radio show host Jeffrey Kuhner that his telephone is being tapped and that he is receiving “harassment phone calls” by people who then “hang up” without saying anything.
“You can never trace any of the numbers,” Shoebat told Kuhner. “It is very likely the United States government.”
He reported a constant busy signal to his telephone company, which responded that it found something “unusual” in his record which had never been seen before. Shoebat said he was told by “security forces” with whom he has consulted that the eavesdropping, noises and harassment are being carried out “by professionals.”
He added that calls made to a family member are rerouted to a recording of noises.
Shoebat told Kuhner that he had been taping an interview with Rick Wiles of TruNews. He said that prior to the broadcast, he received a phone call during which the interview was played back to him over the phone even though it had not yet been released for public consumption. When Shoebat contacted Wiles about it, Wiles was reportedly dumbfounded.
Shoebat had translated the words of an Egyptian official, Tahani al-Jebali, who had said on television several weeks ago that Obama’s half-brother, Malik Obama, is the financial “architect” for The Muslim Brotherhood. Shoebat referred to three Arabic sources which had also published al-Jebali’s claims.
In his biography, Shoebat states that “I used to be a radicalized Muslim willing to die for the cause of Jihad until I converted to Christianity in 1994. As a member of the PLO I was involved in terror activity…I speak to the American people to warn and educate them about the very great dangers which are very underplayed both by our media and our political leaders….All terrorists are radicalized through undue influence by Islamist organizations beginning with their local Mosque as well as from abroad…Jihad, or what we define as Terrorism, comes in three forms – Jihad by the pen, Jihad by the sword and Jihad by finance. When one is not in a position of military strength he uses the pen, or propaganda. If one has military strength, he uses violence, including acts of terror. Jihad by finance comes in the form of money to fund both the propaganda and the terror.”
On August 21, Shoebat reported that CNN Arabic had confirmed his translation of al-Jebali’s statements. As of this writing, CNN Arabic is depicting Barack Obama with white eyes and a large red “X” over his face next to the likeness of an American flag.
Malik’s application for non-profit status for his Barack H. Obama Foundation was approved within 30 days personally by Lois Lerner, who has been on “paid leave” since her co-workers admitted in May that the IRS targeted “conservative” and Tea Party groups for special scrutiny, at times delaying approvals or denials for many months. Three years ago, Malik attended a conference of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO), of Shoebat claims Malik is Executive Secretary. Shoebat reported on May 28, 2013 that “The IDO has been created by the Sudanese Government, which is considered by the U.S. State Department as a terrorist state. This places Malik Obama in bed with terrorists and working as an official with a terrorist state. We have the evidence to prove it – meetings, photos, et. al.”
Photos of Malik at the conference are shown interspersed with the text of Shoebat’s column. On September 5, Shoebat conveyed that Arabic news outlets had reported that “Complaints have been filed with Egypt’s Prosecutor General that call for Malik to be put on Egypt’s terror watch list and brought in for questioning about his role in financing terrorism.”
“They are very, very upset at the work we’re doing,” Shoebat told Kuhner. Indicating that he is living in the United States at present, he told Kuhner that “We are not the kind of Christians that we call ‘silent.’… Nothing will stop me…Nothing could stop us from standing and fighting the fight as Christians. For years, people are ashamed to be called Christians in this country…”
Several months before the al-Jebali made her public statements, Shoebat had reported that Malik was “in bed with terrorists.”
As does The Post & Email, Kuhner refers to the current occupiers of Washington, DC “the Obama regime.” The Post & Email does not consider Obama to be legitimate, nor anyone he has appointed, and has used that term since its inception in 2009. Over the period of at least a year, The Post & Email noted background noises, cut-off calls, and almost instantaneous comments submitted to the newspaper in response to private telephone conversations.
Writers critical of the Obama regime have related similar accounts to The Post & Email.
Kuhner complimented Shoebat for his “courageous investigative reporting.” Kuhner is a Washington Times columnist and host of The Kuhner Report on Boston’s WRKO 680 AM.
In response to the harassment, Shoebat told Kuhner, “We are not comprising.”
