Dinesh D’Souza Spoofs Obama’s Between Two Ferns to Sell His New Movie

Everyone’s got something to sell these days. President Obama has the Affordable Care Act to sell; Dinesh D’Souza has a new film called America: The Movie.
In order to sell his program, Obama famously appeared on Zach Galifianakis‘ enormously successful comedy sketch Between Two Ferns. And now D’Souza, director of 2016: Obama’s America, has attempted to parrot that viral marketing by inserting himself into the gag.
After three minutes of digitally rearranging the Two Ferns interview to appear as an antagonistic encounter between D’Souza and Obama, the video then cuts to… yep… a trailer for the conservative commentator’s new alt-history film, simply entitled America.
