(Dec. 9, 2014) — In an update on Jeff Lichter late last night, The Post & Email received an email which reads, “Your prayers are working. Jeff has been off the ventilator for a few days. He is holding conversations with us. He was in a wheel chair for about three hours a day or two ago. He is getting bored.”
Lichter has been hospitalized since early October after undergoing surgery and suffering unexpected complications. We are told that before the surgery, he continued to be active in sports by coaching a children’s baseball team and walking regularly. He is recovering at Kindred Hospital in Peoria, AZ.
Approximately a month ago, a get-well-card campaign was launched for Lichter. He can receive cards at:
Lichter is a member of the Surprise, AZ Tea Party, whose members asked Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio to launch an investigation into the long-form birth certificate image posted on the White House website on April 27, 2011 which was immediately deemed a forgery by graphics experts. Arpaio commissioned his Cold Case Posse to investigate the image, believing that prompt review would “clear the president.” However, the posse found that the image was fraught with problems and could not have originated with a paper document.
At a formal press conference held on March 1, 2012, Cold Case Posse lead investigator Michael Zullo and Arpaio announced that the birth certificate image is a “computer-generated forgery,” along with Obama’s purported Selective Service registration form, the latter of which The Post & Email received through the U.S. Postal Service in May 2010 through a FOIA request.
The media largely accepted the posted image as a scan of an authentic document without a paper copy having been released and reported little of Arpaio and Zullo’s declared findings the following year.
On April 27, 2011, CNN reported that the White House had “released copies” of Obama’s long-form birth certificate, which was not accurate. An attorney for the Associated Press told The Post & Email later that year that his organization did not receive a “copy” of the document, but that rather, it could be procured only through a FOIA request.
Last year, a government watchdog organization found that the White House had assumed oversight of FOIA requests relating to “White House equities,” some of which were stalled or were never given a response.
Since the beginning of Obama’s second term, revelations about ongoing alleged criminality within the IRS, HHS, EPA, DOJ, Social Security Administration, Veterans Affairs Administration, the FDIC, Selective Service System, and the White House have led to what some believe to be a complete distrust in government. On Monday, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) stated at a news conference sponsored by Judicial Watch that Obama is dismantling our constitutional form of government by declaring by edict that illegal aliens can remain in the country, obtain work permits, and garner Social Security and other benefits after filing income tax returns.
Immediately after taking office, Obama promised “an unprecedented level of openness in government.” He also promised, in regard to his health care law known as “Obamacare,” that “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan,” which was untrue. The major “architect” of the law, MIT professor Jonathan Gruber, is proved to have lied about the individual mandate having been devised as a tax from the beginning, an obfuscation which could have ramifications on the U.S. Supreme Court decision that the mandate is constitutional if it is considered a tax.
Gruber rejoiced in the knowledge that “transparency” was not provided in the writing of the law and its possible presentation to members of Congress, many of whom did not read it before voting in favor of it. Gruber will be testifying on Capitol Hill on Tuesday.
In the relatively near future, Zullo and Arpaio are expected to release more information gleaned from both the birth certificate investigation and a second probe launched by Arpaio as a result of it. Zullo has stated that an “intent to deceive” underlies the forgery of Obama’s proffered “documents.”
