Unlike U.S. officials, Venezuelan officials appear to take their presidential eligibility requirement serious.
And like the American press, Colombia's press gets it wrong!
Trump never claimed Obama was born in Kenya and Ted Cruz was not born to two U.S. citizen parents!

Similar theories could complicate the presidential campaign of Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada to U.S. citizen parents.
Now it seems that some of Venezuela’s opposition legislators are adopting a birther conspiracy of their own.
