Lucas Daniel Smith sent, via USPS Certified Mail, a copy of Obama’s Kenyan Birth Certificate, as part of a 7 page document package including an individually notarized cover letter, to every member of the U.S. Congress on or shortly after July 4, 2010.

Most of these Senators and Representatives who received the document package are still holding office.

The American people through their elected servants in Congress voted to give our military the authority to remove the Saddam Regime from power in Iraq. Congress hasn’t approved any of it. It’s treason.

I recently downloaded the Kindle e-Book, “ObamaScare” (available from Amazon.com) written by Attorney Philip J. Berg and have read “Chapter III, Obama’s Kenyan Birth / Immigration and Citizenship Law”.

Although there is really nothing ‘new’ discussed in the chapter, Attorney Philip Berg does make a convincing case that Obama was born in Mombasa, Kenya.

Annette appears to be citing the document, which is now often referred to as the ‘Lucas Daniel Smith, Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate’ (Certificate Number 32018) –

It’s interesting, I think, that Annette claims she obtained the document very early in 2008.

Lucas obtained his authentic, certified copy of what may be the same document that Annette is referring to on February 19, 2009 directly from the birth hospital in Mombasa and it has been in wide circulation since the summer of 2009.

Was Annette mistaken about the 2008 year she obtained the document? — or does she have a copy of a comparable document, which was in circulation prior to Lucas obtaining his certified copy of what might be essentially the same document in February 2009?

The New York developer and reality television star is second among 2016 presidential candidates in a new Suffolk University poll of New Hampshire Republicans – behind only former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

The poll of 500 likely GOP presidential primary voters found 14% back Mr. Bush. Mr. Trump is right behind at 11%. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio come next, with 8% and 7%, respectively. The poll tested 19 GOP candidates – a rare survey that included ultra-longshots like Mark Everson and former Govs. Bob Ehrlich and Jim Gilmore.

While Mr. Trump is experiencing a bump in popularity after announcing the launch of his campaign last week (he filed formal Federal Elections Commission paperwork Monday), he remains the most disliked GOP candidate in the field. Suffolk found he is the only GOP candidate with a net unfavorable rating in New Hampshire — 37% of those surveyed had a favorable opinion of Mr. Trump, compared to 49% who had an unfavorable view.

The candidate with the largest gap between favorable and unfavorable ratings is Mr. Rubio, at 61% favorable to 14% unfavorable. Mr. Rubio was also chosen as the second choice by 13% of poll respondents. Mr. Bush was the second-choice pick of 14% of those surveyed.

Director of the school named after US President, Michael Muiga, has called the June 3 closure of the school by the Commission of University Education a mistake.

The commission chairman, Henry Thairu, had alleged that the institution located in Ndenderu, Kiambu county, is being built in a residential area, is unregistered and is meant to dupe Kenyans.

“The institution is aimed at duping unsuspecting students to enrol,” Thairu had said.

But Muiga says the university will soon admit students.

He urged the authorities to support the institution which he claims has the nod of Barack Obama’s family in Kenya.

The Director revealed plans to build the university’s main campus in Nyang’oma Kogelo, Siaya.

In a dissent he summarized from the bench, Justice Antonin Scalia said, “We should start calling this law SCOTUScare.” Using the acronym for the Supreme Court, Scalia said his colleagues have twice stepped in to save the law from what Scalia considered worthy challenges.

“The Court holds that when the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act says ‘Exchange established by the State’ it means ‘Exchange established by the State or the Federal Government.’ That is of course quite absurd, and the Court’s 21 pages of explanation make it no less so,” Scalia wrote.

Some thoughts on QUALITY ASSURANCE in today’s United States of America

The American People have long enjoyed the benefits of EXCELLENT QUALITY ASSURANCE programs and procedures that have been instituted by private companies performing under our free market economy. These programs have favorably impacted an extremely wide variety of goods and services delivered daily to millions of people.

As just a few prominent examples:

—– Proctor and Gamble, Inc. (headquarters, Cincinnati, Ohio) – broad spectrum of consumer goods.

—– Ford Motor Company, Inc. (headquarters, Dearborn, Michigan) – cars and trucks

—– Apple, Inc. (headquarters, Cupertino, California) -consumer electronics, computer hardware and software

—– Tyson Foods, Inc. (headquarters, Springdale, Arkansas) – marketers of value-added chicken, beef and pork to retail grocers, broad line foodservice distributors and national fast food and full service restaurant chains

The AMERICAN PEOPLE are generally ACCUSTOMED TO RECEIVING QUALITY MERCHANDISE and they know it when they experience it.

SO – Why do the American People continue to tolerate the absolute CRAP QUALITY POLITICIANS that are generally being provided them year after year by the ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN and DEMOCRATIC PARTIES (headquarters, Washington, DC)?

In a logical world, OBAMA WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN RELEASED by ‘Political Quality Assurance’ in 2008, and if he had been released to the country in ERROR, he would have been RECALLED IMMEDIATELY upon discovery that he was a dangerous LIAR, FRAUD and IMPOSTER.

Furthermore, in a logical world, those two ‘Political Establishments’ (headquarters, Washington, DC) failing to perform or even acknowledge the required need for RECALL OF DANGEROUS MERCHANDISE, would be replaced by organizations that could consistently provide the expected SAFETY and QUALITY of ‘Political Merchandise’ to the American People.

“If you’re asking me, ‘Was there a political discussion as to whether it would be disadvantageous to show up in Kenya when Donald Trump was questioning his citizenship,’ I don’t recall ever having that discussion,” Mr. Axelrod said. “But maybe no one needed to have that discussion.”

With that concern now behind him, Mr. Obama will depart Washington on Thursday night. But he acknowledged last week that it would not be the same as when he first visited as a young man with questions. A Donald Trump official leading his political campaign in Iowa has said his attacks on Fox News host Megyn Kelly are ‘fair game’.

Tana Goertz, his campaign co-chair in the battleground state, said that she was not offended by Trump’s suggestion that Kelly asked him tough questions because there was ‘blood coming out of her wherever’.

Goertz instead said the abuse is part of political debate, saying: ‘If you mess with the bull you’re going to get the horns, sweetheart’.

Trump’s comments, made Friday night in a CNN segment where he also called her a ‘lightweight’ and ‘overrated’, were widely interpreted as a crude reference to Kelly’s menstrual cycle.

He has since claimed he was referring to her nose.

Goertz, whose association with Trump began when she appeared on season three of The Apprentice, told BuzzFeed News that she was ‘not offended’ by the statement, and does not think it is about her period.

She said: ‘You know with Mr Trump, he believes that he responds to men and women with equal intensity so you know Megyn was attacking him at the debate and he just fired back. It’s fair game.’

Meanwhile Trump was roundly criticized for the remarks by other Republican candidates, members of the public, and even his own staff.

Roger Stone, a longtime associated of Trump, dramatically exited the campaign Saturday.

He says he abandoned his campaign after failing to persuade him to stop his personal attacks and focus on the issues. Trump says he fired Stone.

The real estate billionaire was forced to divert his campaign Saturday after his invitation to a gathering of conservative activists in Atlanta, Georgia, was rescinded over his attacks on Kelly.

He was slated to appear at the RedState gathering, where Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie and others made speeches to the GOP faithful.

A brand-new scientific poll taken in the wake of Thursday’s Republican debates and Donald Trump’s war of words with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly shows the billionaire developer increasing his lead at the top position, with GOP establishment candidates such as Jeb Bush and Chris Christie in a downward spiral.

The NBC News Online Survey was conducted online by SurveyMonkey from August 7-8, 2015 among a national sample of 3,551 adults aged 18 and over. The overnight poll was conducted for 24 hours from Friday evening into Saturday.

Trump ranked at No. 1, scoring 23 percent support, a gain of 1 percentage point from NBC’s previous poll.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas saw the biggest increase of 7 percent, finishing in second place with 13 percent of the overall vote.

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson came in third, scoring 11 percent, a personal increase of 3 points.

Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina tied Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida for fourth place with 8 percent, but Fiorina experienced a massive 6-point jump for herself compared to her previous status at just 2 percent.

Jeb Bush tied Scott Walker for fifth place, collecting 7 percent each, which was down 3 points for both candidates.

Mike Huckabee and Rand Paul tied for sixth place at 5 percent each, followed by Rick Perry and John Kasich at two percent.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was near the bottom of the barrel at just 1 percent support, having dropped two points following the debate. He is tied with Bobby Jindal and Lindsey Graham.

Rick Santorum and George Pataki scored zero in the NBC poll.

As far as the debate itself is concerned, the polltakers noted: “Among Republican and Republican-leaning voters who watched either of the debates or followed coverage of the debates in the news, Carly Fiorina emerged as the clear winner. Twenty-two percent said Fiorina won or had the best performance in the debate, followed by 18 percent who said Trump had the best performance. However, another 29 percent said Trump did the worst in the debate, clearly showing how polarizing he is.”

During the Fox News debate Thursday evening, Trump was the only Republican candidate to say he would not rule out a run as an independent.

Orly, as a constitutional lawyer, can you tell us your view of whether “Birthright Citizenship” is constitutional and whether children of illegals can be citizens? It would be great to know your view.

So, here is my response.

First of all, let’s look at the recent decision of the Supreme Court on Obamacare. The law stated that individuals covered by state exchanges can get subsidies from the federal government. It clearly stated “state exchanges”. However 5 of 9 judges of the Supreme Court did not go by the black letter law, rather, they went by the intend of the legislature. They claimed that the intent was to give subsidizes to everyone, not just ones, who enrolled through the state exchanges.

So, let’s look at the intent of the legislature at the time the 14 th amendment was passed into law. The legislature wanted to grant citizenship to blacks, who resided in this country for generations and did not have citizenship in any other country. The legislature did not envision citizens of foreign countries flooding this country and demanding US citizenship for their US born children. Just as children of the US citizens, born abroad, automatically get US citizenship based on “jus sanguinis,” the citizenship of their parents, similarly, citizens of Mexico, China and other countries automatically get citizenship of Mexico, China and other countries based on their “jus sanguinis,” the citizenship of their parents, even if they are born in the US.

Furthermore, Senator Jacob Howard, the author of the 1th amendement, specifically stated that it did not apply to foreigners and aliens.

So, the intent was clear, not to grant the US citizenship to children of foreign citizens.

Further, aside from the intent, the black letter law supports Trump’s, Walker’s, Cruz’s and Paul’s assertion. The fourteenth amendment clearly states that the child has to be born in the US and be subject to the US jurisdiction, not just be born in the US. Some are saying that the fact of being born in the US is sufficient for being subject to the US jurisdiction. If this would be the case, then the law would just state “born in the US”, it would not state “born in the US and subject to the jurisdiction”. Jurisdiction means allegiance. A child, born in the US, whose parents are both foreign citizens, has allegiance to the countries of origin of his parents and he is subject to the jurisdiction of those nations.

“I would correct him,” Christie told NBC’s “TODAY” on Friday morning. “I’d say that the president is a Christian and he was born in this country. Those two things are self-evident.”

Christie also said he wouldn’t “lecture” Trump about the best course of action he should have taken. But he did make clear: “I wouldn’t have permitted that,” he said.

“Donald Trump’s got to decide, as we’ve seen, I’ve said this all along, he’s got to decide how serious a candidate he wants to be, and how he handles different problems like this are going to determine that in the eyes of the American people.”

As Politico reported, Christie said: “I’ll just tell you what I would do and I wouldn’t have permitted that. If someone brought that up at a town hall meeting of mine, I would’ve said, ‘No, listen. Before we answer, let’s clear some things up for the rest of the audience.’ And I think you have an obligation as a leader to do that.”

Christie’s remarks only tack on to what’s becoming the hottest presidential campaign story of the week.

It began Thursday evening, when an unidentified man at a town hall meeting in Rochester, New Hampshire, asked Trump: “We have a problem in this country. It’s called Muslims. You know our current president is one. You know he’s not even an American.”

At that point, Trump said “right” uneasily.

The man continued: “You know he’s not even an American — birth certificate, man!”

“We need this question?” Trump asked, laughing. “This is the first question?”

The man, who wore a Trump T-shirt, continued: “Anyway, we have training camps growing where they want to kill us. That’s my question. When can we get rid of them?”

Trump’s reply?

“We’re going to be looking at a lot of different things,” he said. “You know, a lot of people are saying that and a lot of people are saying that bad things are happening. We’re going to be looking at that and many other things.”

Trump disregarded the Obama references. But as WND has previously reported, the billionaire businessman was once a very vocal and ardent pursuer of the truth about the president’s place of birth, once offering to give $5 million to charity in return for information and documents proving Obama’s eligibility to seek the White House. In 2013, for instance, Trump said during an ABC interview of Obama’s birth status: “Was there a birth certificate? You tell me. … Nobody knows.”

At the town hall, Trump didn’t head back down that birther path – but as Christie’s remarks indicate, it almost didn’t matter. His political opponents, including Democrat front-runner Hillary Clinton, were quick to pounce.

In a tweet, she wrote: “Donald Trump not denouncing false statements about POTUS & hateful rhetoric about Muslims is disturbing & just plain wrong. Cut it out. –H.”

The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee had even harsher words for Trump.

“GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s racism knows no bounds. This is certainly horrendous but unfortunately unsurprising given what we have seen already,” said Debbie Wasserman Schulz.

Trump released a statement to The Washington Post defending his comments.

“The media wants to make this issue about Obama,” he told the Post. “The bigger issue is that Obama is waging a war against Christians in this country. Their religious liberty is at stake.”

His campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, talked to the Post late Thursday night to further defend Trump’s answer.

“Mr. Trump was asked about training camps,” Lewandowski said. “Mr. Trump answered the question and said, ‘If there are any, we will fix it.’ He said, ‘I will look into it.’ The question was specifically about training camps.”

When asked if Trump believes that Obama is a Muslim, Lewandowski told the Post that he doesn’t speak for Trump and that it’s “up to the media” if they want to “make this about Obama.”

And Kailani Koenig, another campaign official for the Trump side, sent out this Twitter message: “Trump camp: ‘Mr. Trump was referring to the need to protect Christians religious liberties as his previous statement says and nothing more.”

CNBC, which is part of the same NBC News network that openly partnered with a Democrat political data firm; that funneled more than a half-billion dollars to two pro-Hillary propaganda outlets (Vox and BuzzFeed); that turned their entire network over to the Clinton campaign for five days last week, thought it would pull a fast one and expand the upcoming Republican presidential debate from 2 hours to 3 hours.

The Hill reports that all the GOP candidates would prefer a two-hour debate, and for obvious reasons. The longer the left-wing media has to interrogate our candidates, the more likely it is the media will score for Hillary. Candidates are also more likely to make a mistake as the hours drag on.

CNBC also wanted to kill the opportunity for the candidates to have an opening and closing statement — which is also an obvious political move on the part of NBC News. The media wants to define our candidates as racist, crazy and stupid, and the best way to do this is to not let them get their message out with opening and closing remarks.

The Hill:

The campaign source added that the Trump campaign was the main driver behind the complaints about the length of the debate.

“People realized we got the short end of the stick when the Democrats had a 2 minute opening and a 90 second closing [during their debate], so they had three and a half minutes to a 15 million person audience of an infomercial,” the source said.

“They get a commercial, we get ‘The Hunger Games.’ ”

That frustration turned into the letter from Carson and Trump, first reported by NBC News, where the top two in the GOP presidential polls specifically threatened to pull out.

Read that last line again. Look who publicly stood up to the media. Look who punched back by threatening to boycott the debate and used their leverage as frontrunners to get CNBC to back down.

This morning CNBC caved and agreed to a two-hour debate. The RNC also believes the candidates will get their opening and closing statements.

I seriously doubt that Trump will file his own lawsuit against Cruz. I’m confident that he is well aware that COMPROMISED FEDERAL JUDGES, up to and including SCOTUS if necessary, would be conducting any hearings. Tragically, the definition of “natural born Citizen’ as required by Article II for POTUS would likely be judged using the modern, very prevalent ‘Constitution is a Living Document’ interpretation. Under this scenario, BOTH Rubio and Cruz (and also Obama, by NECESSITY) would very likely be declared eligible. I believe Trump, a really smart guy, knows this and he would not want to take a chance on actually LOSING a lawsuit against Cruz.

Hmmmm!

Based on my review of the two above posted videos, perhaps it would be BEST for the Birthers to concentrate their efforts, at least for the next few years, on exposing KENYAN-BORN OBAMA simply as a LIAR, FRAUD and IMPOSTOR.

Imagine giving this advice to a Republican presidential candidate: What if you stopped calling yourself a conservative and instead just promised to make America great again?

What if you dropped all this leftover 19th-century piety about the free market and promised to fight the elites who were selling out American jobs? What if you just stopped talking about reforming Medicare and Social Security and instead said that the elites were failing to deliver better health care at a reasonable price? What if, instead of vainly talking about restoring the place of religion in society — something that appeals only to a narrow slice of Middle America — you simply promised to restore the Middle American core — the economic and cultural losers of globalization — to their rightful place in America? What if you said you would restore them as the chief clients of the American state under your watch, being mindful of their interests when regulating the economy or negotiating trade deals?

That’s pretty much the advice that columnist Samuel Francis gave to Pat Buchanan in a 1996 essay, “From Household to Nation,” in Chronicles magazine. Samuel Francis was a paleo-conservative intellectual who died in 2005. Earlier in his career he helped Senator East of North Carolina oppose the Martin Luther King holiday. He wrote a white paper recommending the Reagan White House use its law enforcement powers to break up and harass left-wing groups. He was an intellectual disciple of James Burnham’s political realism, and Francis’ political analysis always had a residue of Burnham’s Marxist sociology about it. He argued that the political right needed to stop playing defense — the globalist left won the political and cultural war a long time ago — and should instead adopt the insurgent strategy of communist intellectual Antonio Gramsci. Francis eventually turned into a something resembling an all-out white nationalist, penning his most racist material under a pen name. Buchanan didn’t take Francis’ advice in 1996, not entirely. But 20 years later, “From Household to Nation,” reads like a political manifesto from which the Trump campaign springs.

To simplify Francis’ theory: There are a number of Americans who are losers from a process of economic globalization that enriches a transnational global elite. These Middle Americans see jobs disappearing to Asia and increased competition from immigrants. Most of them feel threatened by cultural liberalism, at least the type that sees Middle Americans as loathsome white bigots. But they are also threatened by conservatives who would take away their Medicare, hand their Social Security earnings to fund-managers in Connecticut, and cut off their unemployment too.

Middle American forces, emerging from the ruins of the old independent middle and working classes, found conservative, libertarian, and pro-business Republican ideology and rhetoric irrelevant, distasteful, and even threatening to their own socio-economic interests. The post World War II middle class was in reality an affluent proletariat, economically dependent on the federal government through labor codes, housing loans, educational programs, defense contracts, and health and unemployment benefits. All variations of conservative doctrine rejected these…

Yet, at the same time, the Ruling Class proved unable to uproot the social cultural, and national identities and loyalties of the Middle American proletariat, and Middle Americans found themselves increasingly alienated from the political left and its embrace of anti-national policies, and counter-cultural manners and morals. For decades, people have been warning that a set of policies that really has enriched Americans on the top, and likely has improved the overall quality of life (through cheap consumables) on the bottom, has hollowed out the middle.

In a lighthearted, plainspoken talk at Princeton University, Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia discussed his judicial philosophy of reading the U.S. Constitution on its textual basis and original meaning.

“The fairest reading of the text is what the law means,” he said Monday, Dec. 10, to an audience of more than 700 at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall. “When we read Shakespeare we use a glossary because we want to know what it meant when it was written. We don’t give those words their current meaning. So also with a statute — our statutes don’t morph, they don’t change meaning from age to age to comport with the whatever the zeitgeist thinks appropriate.”

Scalia’s talk was titled “Reading Law,” which is also the title of the book he co-authored with legal language expert Bryan Garner and published earlier this year. Scalia touched on the book in his hour-long talk and question-and-answer session. He declined to express any opinions about controversial cases that may come before the Supreme Court such as the same-sex marriage cases to appear this term, but he defended his rhetorical tone in writing about gay rights cases in a question from a student in an animated exchange.

Scalia said his book explains his judicial philosophies of textualism and originalism — applying the meaning of the words at the time the document was written when analyzing legal statutes — in detail, and it also provides thorough discussions of the different modes of interpretation that textualists can employ in interpreting legal material.

In the talk, Scalia primarily contrasted his philosophy of originalism with the common conception of a “living Constitution” that changes with society over time. One example, he said, was the issue of whether the death penalty ought to be considered “cruel and unusual punishment” as prohibited by the Eighth Amendment, and as some of his colleagues on the Supreme Court believe.

“There is absolutely no doubt that when the Eighth Amendment was adopted — nobody, nobody, not a single person, thought” it applied to the death penalty, Scalia said. “Nonetheless, my four colleagues thought that somehow it was within their power to say that’s what the cruel and unusual punishment clause means today, even though it never meant that. … That is what the living Constitution produces.”

The notion of a living Constitution has risen over the last 30 years and has percolated throughout society, with Scalia and Justice Clarence Thomas the only originalists on the Supreme Court, Scalia said.

“I have classes of little kids who come to the court, and they recite very proudly what they’ve been taught, ‘The Constitution is a living document.’ It isn’t a living document! It’s dead. Dead, dead, dead!” Scalia said, drawing laughs from the crowd. “No, I don’t say that. … I call it the enduring Constitution. That’s what I tell them.”

In his view, that issues such as abortion and homosexuality do not appear in the Constitution makes them matters for which citizens and states can enact laws, Scalia said. The tendency to see the Constitution as a living document extends to a tendency to see what one wishes in it, Scalia said.

“If there’s anything you absolutely hate, why, it must be unconstitutional,” he said. “Or, if there’s anything you absolutely have to have, it must be required by the Constitution. That’s where we are. That is utterly mindless.”

Though it has the illusion of flexibility, the living Constitution creates new restrictions or decisions that must be lived by across the country, rather than laws enacted state by state. And the results are not always liberal or conservative, Scalia said, offering examples of two cases declaring statutes unconstitutional (with Scalia dissenting), one favored by liberals regarding discrimination based on sexual preference, and the other favored by conservatives regarding excessive punitive damages in civil cases.

This morphing view of the Constitution, Scalia said, has two practical problems. The first, he said, is a question of legitimacy; the Constitution does not say that the Supreme Court should decide the “evolving standards of decency” in society, a task better suited to the Congress.

“Why would you think these nine unelected lawyers living in a marble palace have their thumb on the pulse of the American people so that they know what the evolving standards of decency are? I don’t know what they are. I’m afraid to ask,” Scalia said.

The second argument, Scalia said, is that the text and its original meaning are the only objective standards to which all judges can be held.

The Pundits Are Wrong, Donald Trump Stills Wins The Nomination

The narrative on national television says that establishment Republicans will seize control of the Rules Committee at the RNC and they will open the convention to nominations from the floor.

It’s an unlikely scenario and even if it happens there’s a bigger problem. Any change in the rules must be ratified on the floor of the Convention where Trump and Cruz delegates will shut it down.

Trump doesn’t want a new face in the competition, someone who hasn’t gone through the rigorous debates. That face would be a clean slate and voters could project what they want on it. And Cruz wants to be the only Trump alternative, which is his only chance to win.

Remember when Rule 40(b) was changed in 2012? When it went to the floor of the Convention, Chairman, John Boehner said, “In the opinion of the Chair the Ayes have it!” Remember the uproar? And that was over Ron Paul giving a speech.

Just imagine the bedlam if this convention’s chairman, Paul Ryan, tried to do that in Cleveland where the Trump and Cruz delegates dominate the floor? He would be betraying the two front runners of his own party. It wouldn’t work. The noise would be deafening. His political career would be over forever.

So the Rules changes that everyone is salivating over on television this week are not likely to happen because even if they were changed in Committee they would not be ratified by the whole convention. There’s more. The Establishment must not only take control of the Rules Committee it must take control of the Credentials Committee or conceivably lose control of both. The Credentials Committee has the power to seat and unseat delegates that are being chosen at conventions. It will settle any challenges and decide what was fair at the respective State Conventions.

In 2012, this Committee arbitrarily removed duly elected Ron Paul delegates and replaced them with establishment Republicans. This is where Paul Manafort (Trump’s convention advisor) will earn his pay. If the establishment was seen to be pushing a third candidate at the RNC you could expect the Credentials Committee, dominated by Trump and Cruz, to start replacing delegates with their own. They could even bleed the establishment from the Rules Committee.

I know it sounds funny that Trump and Cruz would be working together but it is very likely in this scenario. Trump would say we will take ten more out of the Minnesota delegation and give you ten more in Missouri.

Now, these new delegates will have to vote on the first ballot according to the state rules of their party just as the establishment delegates they replaced but in Committees and on the floor of the Convention they would vote as directed by their Trump-Cruz whips.

That’s why a multiple ballot convention would only belong to Trump and Cruz and not lead to Kasich or a “new face” as some are now claiming.

Finally, one last thing about the so called establishment. It is not monolithic. We are learning that many support Cruz and surprisingly many support Trump. The idea that John Sununu, Ben Ginsburg or Karl Rove can direct them is false.

So if the race is down to Trump and Cruz, which both men want, how does Trump win in the growing face of the “never Trump” movement?

Let’s start with money. Trump was outspent 10-1 in Wisconsin. At some point he can start to spend money to defend himself.

The next contest is in New York. With all the attention given to Trump’s insults you may have forgotten that Ted Cruz had one of his own, denigrating “New York values” in a national debate.

The decision will ultimately go to California. Martha McCallum of Fox News said something very poignant this morning. It just seemed to pass by everybody unnoticed. She said, “There is momentum in the delegate gathering process too.” It was a very savvy observation.
