Robert Reich dated Hillary Clinton. Eventually the diminutive leftist became Bill Clinton’s Secretary of Labor and parlayed that into teaching a class at UC Berkeley on Wealth and Poverty for six figures.

Reich, who claims to be an expert on “inequality”, pulled down $304,802 in gross pay in 2018.

The University of California’s president, Janet Napolitano, is a fellow former Clinton cabinet member. And Reich is employed at a Berkeley school named after a Clinton Global Initiative donor.

Obviously, Reich also spends a lot of time inveighing against “oligarchy”. Just not enough to quit.

Reich claims that in America, “It’s socialism for the rich. Everyone else is treated to harsh capitalism.”

He ought to know. UC Berkeley is funded by taxpayers.

These days, Reich is one of the many tentacles of the Clinton oligarchy warning about the truth threat. His former date recently declared that she was “appalled by the war on truth”. Hillary didn’t mean her own war on truth which ranged from falsely claiming to have landed at a Bosnia airport under fire, to applying to NASA and the Marine Corps, to being named after Sir Edmund Hillary, to, bringing peace to Northern Ireland, where she claimed, in her own lying words, “the role I played was instrumental.”

According to recent reports U.S. Attorney John Durham and U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr are spending time on a narrowed focus looking carefully at CIA activity in the 2016 presidential election.  One recent quote from a media-voice increasingly sympathetic to a political deep-state notes:

“One British official with knowledge of Barr’s wish list presented to London commented that “it is like nothing we have come across before, they are basically asking, in quite robust terms, for help in doing a hatchet job on their own intelligence services””. (Link)

It is interesting that quote comes from a British intelligence official, as there appears to be mounting evidence of an extensive CIA operation that likely involved U.K. intelligence services.  In addition, and as a direct outcome, there is an aspect to the CIA operation that overlaps with both a U.S. and U.K. need to keep Wikileaks founder Julian Assange under tight control.  In this outline we will explain where corrupt U.S. and U.K. interests merge.

Robert Shiller, a Nobel Prize in Economics recipient and the Sterling Professor of Economics at Yale University, joined ARK Invest CEO Catherine Wood in a discussion this week about the embrace of disruptive technology in today’s narrative-driven economy at the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit in Detroit. 

Shiller: Narratives Resemble The Great Depression

A sort of fear bubble has emerged, with asset managers drawing upon indices, fixed income and private market assets for alpha, Shiller said. 

“Hardly anyone remembers; right about 1929 — the peak of the stock market — people started to worry about technological unemployment,” said Shiller, referencing Stuart Chase’s book “Men and Machines.”

“[Chase] said, ‘we are now in a turning point in history. We are entering the power age … and we’re going to be seeing massive unemployment.'” 

A Cause For Concern? 

The uncertainty surrounding job security and technology is unsubstantiated, Wood said. 

She pointed to a 2013 Oxford University paper that inaccurately concluded that 47% of American jobs would be axed by automation over the next decade.

Wood said she approached the study from a different perspective: productivity.

“We determined that by the year 2035, the United States would create $12 trillion more than it otherwise would have without automation. So, instead of being a $28-trillion economy, we’re going to be a $40-trillion economy.”

Denmark is known for its love of bicycles free speech traditions and a Muslim population that now surpasses five percent.

Lonning-Skovgaard: We see a pattern where a lot of Muslim youngsters are required, unfortunately, to marry boys or girls from their home country. So we still see quite a huge number of the young people being flown in from Pakistan, Turkey and so on in order to, to marry Muslims living here.

In Copenhagen— as in many parts of Europe— tensions are growing with the expanding Muslim population bumping up against non-Muslim communities. It’s a dynamic that’s testing the limits of free speech and hate speech on both sides.
