This blog report is the third to be filed under the category of ‘Date Formats’.
While I was in Arizona I had the opportunity to wire some money to some friends and family in the Dominican Republic, Cuba and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Not much money but like $40, $65, $50, et cetera.
Sometimes I use Western Union and sometimes I use MoneyGram. For Cuba I always use Western Union. For the Dominican Republic I use either service, just depends on how much money I am sending because MoneyGram is a lot cheaper if you are sending thousands of dollars. Also MoneyGram has a better RD Peso exchange rate than Western Union. But MoneyGram is more complicated for the payee to pick up; got to stand in line at Banco Popular all day. When I send to the Congo I always use Western Union.
While I was in Arizona I was reading over the MoneyGram send money form. I was shocked, rather jarred, when I read the bottom of the MoneyGram form where it asks for sender’s signature and date. The MoneyGram send money form asks for the date in the format of, specifically, DD/MM/YYYY.
I believe that this is the first time that I have ever seen the numeric date format of DD/MM/YYYY requested/used on any form, from anywhere, in the United State of America (a country which typically and invariably uses the numeric date format of MM/DD/YYYY).
I checked further with MoneyGram regarding the numeric date format listed/requested on the MoneyGram send money form. I was informed by MoneyGram that this particular form is used in Arizona and Oklahoma and possibly other US states.
Its becoming clear, rather pristine, that all countries (including Kenya and the USA) deviate from time to time in official date format.
However, according to the laws of Obotopia, the above attached MoneyGram send money form is clearly a forgery because it has the wrong date format listed for the United States of America.
The 1961 Coast Province General Hospital, Mombasa, certificate of birth is the only true and correct copy of Barack Hussein Obama II’s original birth record that has ever surfaced to date.
The fall of Obotopia is surely upon us.
