(Jan. 29, 2018) — Various mainstream sources are reporting that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has resigned from the embattled federal agency six weeks ahead of his planned retirement, during which it is expected he will receive a full government pension and benefits from taxpayers.

His status is now called “terminal leave,” according to The Washington Examiner.

In sharp contrast to other reports, Fox News reported Monday that McCabe was “removed.”
