Triton has delivered its first product: PhycoShield™ MAA
PhycoShield™ is a family of proteins that may help in the prevention of intestinal diseases. This family of proteins is all-natural; they are innate to all mammals. These proteins help to enable digestive tract health, including: repelling harmful infections (e.g., E. coli), combating existing infections, and improving digestion of nutrients.
Triton’s first PhycoShield™ product is called Mammary Associated Amyloid (MAA). MAA is already being commercialized. Triton has a number of other proteins under the PhycoShield™ line, and these will be brought to market over the next several years.
MAA is a protein found in the colostrum (first milk) of all mammals. MAA stimulates the production of a mucus coating in the digestive tract. This mucus may:
