'The Obama File' website has posted an extensive report summarizing information related to the claim by Barack Obama that he was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961.
There is NO CONFIRMING EVIDENCE provided in the summary that supports his claim of a hospital birth in that state.
Furthermore, there are several examples given indicating that attempts have been made to evade the issue or deceive the public regarding his true place of birth.

Hospital Won't Back Obama
The hospital in Hawaii where Barack Obama claims he was born refuses to produce any documentation -- or even confirm the claim -- without permission of Obama himself.
The Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu has posted on its website a letter on White House stationery dated Jan. 24 in which Obama wrote, "As a beneficiary of the excellence of Kapi'olani Medical Center -- the place of my birth -- I am pleased to add my voice to your chorus of supporters."
Kristy Watanabe, the public relations specialist for the hospital refused to confirm or deny the veracity of Obama's letter claiming he was born at the hospital.
"Our comment to everyone who has been calling is that federal law does not permit us to provide any more details concerning information [about Obama's birth] without authorization from Mr. Obama," Watanabe said.
No Records At Any Hospital
All of the following hospitals were called or visited from November 20 through December 2nd, 2008. It was confirmed that OBAMA was not born in any hospital in Honolulu County! NONE!
Hospital employees were bribed and some gave info for free.

3. Kapiolani Hospital officials know that they can drive a deadly dagger into the heart of birther nation if only Obama would give Kapiolani officials permission to allow reporters to examine Obama's mother's hospital records.
4. But for some unknown reason, Obama won't give Kapiolani Hospital officials permission to release his deceased mother's records of Aug. 4, 1961---Obama's birth date---to reporters. Why is that?
5. My opinion is this: Kapiolani Officials will never release Obama's mother's records to reporters because there are no such records to release, that is, Obama's mother was NEVER a patient at Kapiolani Hospital on Aug. 4, 1961 as is stated on Obama's long form birth certificate.
